Maeyonnaise

Every morning, I feel like I am pulling the lever of a slot machine in vegas. It’s just that the first thought in my head when I wake up is “Is today D Day?”.  I am excited, anxious and at some point getting impatient already.  Many have told me this is normal during the last stretch of pregnancy.  Having people asking you daily,”Have you delivered yet?!” doesn’t at all help.  It actually makes me more impatient about the whole thing. :)

I have been to the Emergency three times so far.  The last one, they said, I am already at 1.5cm.  Karen said that could mean a day or even a week more to wait.  Funny because I thought my baby is playing tricks on me.  Whenever I am in the emergency room, the pain and all those seem to unusually lessen if not disappear altogether.  I hate it when the contractions or pain could not be recorded in the CTG and baby is showing off by moving so much.  Last time, she was making waves with my tummy!!! hehehehe.  Ah well.  To think, I had to drag along Mami, Papi and Ariel there.  Actually, on the way there, I told Papi to just turn back because the pain was much less and I really didn’t want to have to go the emergency, then sent home with minor report.  Mami & Papi insisted that I had myself looked at.  Sigh.  We ended up getting stuck in traffic on the way home afterwards.  It just wasn’t time yet.

Right there and then, I promised myself, the next time I go to Emergency, I will be in absolute intense pain... my contractions are just 5 minutes or less apart. I’m sure by then, it won’t go away anymore.  Then, I will be 150% sure that it is time!!!
