So what have I been upto these days???

Since last month, I came up with this idea of totally refurbishing our bedroom. I’ve done my research and took out the colour combination swatches I kept for so long. Below were the sketches I did. If you look closely, they even have measurements in them. I brought this with me the last times I went shopping para swak lahat.

Side Kwento:
I’ve always wanted to have a bedroom that is well organized and very pleasing to look at too. So this project is my way of manifesting that dream.

PHASE 1 comprises of:

• Replacing our old & bulky computer table with a much more space efficient, cost effective & useful one I saw in IKEA. DONE!
• Re-arranging the furnitures in such a way that gives more living space. DONE!
• Cleaning, sorting & organizing everything in the room DONE!

Now, I’m gearing up for the next phase. This project should be finished before Christmas.

PHASE 2 will include:

• Buying new curtains where there’s an almost transparent layer below & a thicker outer layer. I bought a double rod set for our curtains.
• Buying a Modern design fabric to cover our Shoe Rack Tower. Believe me! We just have so many shoes… actually hubby does.
• He works in Puma and every month has an allowance for uniform… so imagine!
• Print a poster for our headboard wall
• Print pictures for the frames that I bought and will place all over the room

This phase should be finished by the end of November.

FINAL PHASE will be the painting of the walls into these really gorgeous Jotun colour combo I got from one of their swatches. I put this last coz I will be on leave in December and will be able to do this and arrange for a temporary sleeping area while the paint dries & the smell goes away. Also, I will be painting some furnitures into WHITE and some parts of the walls too… that’s where the project name came from. :)

Anyway… ayan… naikwento ko na rin finally what’s been keeping me busy… and away from the internet. I’m just so excited about it!
