True to his word (our informer) Mothercare is on sale from today! Hurray!!! 
We kept a lot of baby’s things pending just for this sale. The major one is the car seat. It is vital that we get a very good quality one that will last for a year or so. We didn’t want to buy something that will only last up to 6 months because we feel that it is a waste of money.
Furthermore, road accidents are the scariest thing about Dubai. It’s only here where a drive is never without an encounter with crazy, insane, careless and reckless drivers. It is the place where being a defensive driver is a tool of absolute survival. It is a fact that it is difficult to get a driver’s license here but it doesn’t mean that the drivers are well trained in light vehicle or truck driving school. I remember when I did mine, my instructor said to just follow his instructions by the book so that I can pass and then I can drive as I want after getting the license. :ano: So then, all these are just to get the license but not really to learn proper driving. With this in mind, protecting our baby to the max while on the road is the most important thing for us. Therefore, a very good car seat is a MUST!
For sure, Mothercare will have a good selection. I can’t wait to go shopping tomorrow!!!

I would suggest a Britax carseat, it is convertible from rearfacing to forward facing. But for newborns, I would get one of the carriers you can just snap on to the base to become a carseat. It allows less handling of baby so she doesn’t wake up with the transfer from stroller to carseat.
