Having OCD tendencies, I have been asking friends and family about what I should put into this bag. I already have one ready and have done research online as well, but getting tips from those who have recently gone through it is definitely best. Today, I did a final research with my sis (who recently delivered in the same hospital) and my good friend Tes (who is quite into details as I am).
Here goes:
FOR ME:
Digital camera, extra SD Card and extra batteries or charger
Cell phone, extra credit, and phone charger
Cotton undies
Slippers and socks for labor ward
Personal hygiene items (Shampoo, lip balm, lotion, soap, toothpaste and brush, comb, deodorant, etc. )
Sanitary pads, disposable panties (apparently provided at Al Wasl hospital)
Contact lens supplies/glasses
Nursing bra, pads and lanolin
Wet wipes
Documents (Marriage certificate, passport copies, Health card, insurance card, Antenatal card)
Makeup (lip balm, powder, mirror)
Clothing to wear home
Snacks (muesli bars, barley sugars, lollipops, crackers, chocolate for afterward)
Drinks (sports drinks, bottled water, juice)
Headband / hair ties / hair clips
Alcohol
Face towel
Blanc journal and pen to write down your impressions
Sweets or chocolates for visitors
FOR HUBBY:
Extra clothes
Pillow and sleeping bag (if we can get a private room and he can sleep in the room with me)
Snacks and other food, water or juice
List of people/numbers to call/SMS after birth
Toiletry
Cash
FOR OUR BABY:
Car seat
Going-home outfit (Onesies, cotton hat, bib, socks, mittens, booties)

So, what do you think? Did I forget anything???

HI Che! Super excited na nga rin kami. I am in my 35th week na. Sabi ng doc ko by next week, 9 months na ako and pwede na manganak anytime dahil full term na! Kaka-excite na nakaka-nerbyos actually!!!
Lagi mong kakausapin. Tapos nun hindi mo na lang mamamalayan malapit ka na pala manganak! Time flies!!!
Enjoy mo lang ang pagiging preggy. When you enter the fifth month, yan na yung masayang time kasi mararamdaman mo na movements nya. Very exciting yun!
Hope you have a safe and fun pregnancy. I am enjoying it
I think I will miss it at first.
but of course, nothing like seeing your adorable little one!
