Maeyonnaise

Well… it’s been a while since I really felt in the mood to shop for myself. I guess the pregnancy keeps telling me that any dress I buy now will (hopefully) be only worn for a limited time.  Plus, getting very very near to my due date got me more discouraged to shop for any clothes… for anything for myself actually.  So these days, I am just wearing the same few ones that fit. The truth is I am really running out of things to wear. That’s another reason why I hardly go out too.  Thank goodness I am working from home these days otherwise that will be such a dilemma.  Anyway, I’d rather spend on baby’s stuff instead.

Very recently… I got into the Self-pampering mode and as I invited the girls for some mani-pedi session, I also got myself into online shopping.  Poidy introduced me to this site that has such lovely dresses and definitely prettier and cheaper that those that we can find in the malls.  The best part is, there are limited stocks so we have a low chance of bumping into someone who is wearing the same thing in Dubai!  For me, the best part is, I don’t have to strain myself too much by strolling around malls, trying out stuff and then go home empty-handed with painful legs, feet and hips from all the walking.

I got a bit carried away because I bought these 3 dresses with my very first purchase from Dubai Style Diary. Absolutely happy with my purchase. I bought them for particular purposes already.  At least, I already know what I will wear for upcoming special occassions with baby.  After this, it will be a while till I go shopping for my own clothes since the focus will definitely be on baby stuff this month onwards.  I’m definitely over the Self-pampering mode… now… let me look over the Baby checklist!
