With reference to my previous post, hubby and I went to the shop the sell Bebe Confort pushchairs & Maclaren strollers - GOODBABY.  A day after I posted this entry, I discovered that there is a much lighter version of Loola Up and that is the Streety.  It’s also more compact when folded plus it has the feature that I totally love - parent facing seat unit.  We were there to see it, test drive it and almost relieved that this stroller madness is over when they tell us, they only have it in BLUE!!!

We are having a baby girl!!! :pullhair:  This pushchair spells BOY all over it!!! I would’ve been a lot happier if it was black!!!  Red would’ve been our first choice. 

So we looked around and thanks to the very helpful salesrep, he showed us the strollers that were more sturdy and folded them for us.  Among the many, we found another good choice.  It is like a streety but just a different brand.  It’s the Chicco’s newest stroller - Trio4Me

I was ready to put up the green flag, because the sales rep said they have it in pink.  After a while, he comes back and say that it only comes in blue. For something more expensive than Streety by more than US$100, plus we have to think about the car seat…. hubby and I just gave in to the frustration and went home empty handed.  Hubby doesn’t at all want to have his baby girl pushed around in a blue stroller.

Sigh.  Tonight, we’ll go to a mall we haven’t checked out yet… LAMCY.  Hopefully by this weekend, we finalize this.  I just want to cross this off my list.  When I do, that means the car seat will be crossed off too! Sigh.
