71 days to go…

The much awaited (sometimes dreaded) time is just around the corner.  I was somewhat shocked when Don said that I only have roughly one and a half month more to go.  We haven’t bought anything for our baby.  Well, we quite a load of hand-me-down clothes from Diyel.  We plan to buy the crib by the first week of October.  We also stuff stuff that was sent by Ariel’s mom - clothes, lampins/muslins, bigkis and receiving blankets.  So I guess we have baby bottles and toiletries to buy.  :hypnotize:   Need to make a checklist so we don’t forget anything.

I’m in my 30th week now and it is very difficult to bend over, tie my shoes or even put on underpants.  No wonder coz as you can see above, baby is quite big now.  I am desperately trying to diet as I wouldn’t want baby to grow too large to have a normal delivery.  My appetite is just so healthy it’s difficult to control.  I seem to be always hungry. :hala: Almost all the time, I prefer the unhealthy alternatives - meat, fastfood, ice cream, etc.  I am now instilling eating fruits, cereals and veggies.  I don’t have any sugar, weight or blood pressure problem.  My docs are telling me everything is going well.  I just want to instill some self-discipline and work on having a normal delivery. :sanapo:

There are just so much things going in my head… :nerbyos:

Will I have an epidural?  When do I start working from home?  When should we buy the baby stuff?  How do I prevent an episiotomy?  etc… etc… etc….

I planned on a normal delivery as well but baby had other plans in mind. She didn’t even engage and I was already 40 weeks at that time. We ended up doing a C-section.

Just relax, everyhting will turn out as it should be. Regarding things that you need to buy, we crammed as well. We had a crib, diapers, a few clothes for her, a few bottles and the rest we bought afterwards when we were able to gauge what her other needs will be. So don’t worry. Relax and just enjoy.
