invigorating - imparting strength and vitality;
This was exactly how my first prenatal experience was like. Yeah… I finally went to it!!! Yippeee!!! I should’ve done this a long time ago. Anyway, better late than never.
Since I heard that Zen yoga was opening near our home, I have been exciting to go there and attend the prenatal class. I guess things just kept popping up on Saturday mornings that I can’t seem to go. The first time that I was so determined to go was on Diyel’s Baptism/Karen’s birthday. It was like the first week that they had prenatal on Saturday mornings! So I had to postpone it. Last week, we attended mass at 9am & joined the “family day” thing at IKEA.
Today was THE DAY! In spite of getting home late last night from a Birthday celebration, I made it a point to really go for this class. I was expecting it to be like those classes that Karen attended where the main focus was relaxation & meditation. 2 out of 4 preggy officemates who go to yoga found it boring. Well, they were used to the Hatha style which was more of a stretch and workout as you have to keep moving to poses. These two would’ve have loved this class I am attending as it is so much like Hatha except it’s for preggers! The class had 10 preggy ladies in all shapes and sizes. hehehe. I absolutely enjoyed the workout, the stretching and most of all the relaxing ending where we were left to relax for 5 minutes or so in dim lights. I will definitely get a package for this class and make it a regular thing on my weekends. I felt so much lighter and energised after it. Love it!!!
The only thing I struggled with was sometimes understanding what the instructor was saying because she makes it quite soft. The room was quite big. I think that’s why. Ah well.
