B I G

This seems to be the only way to go.

Just when I was going to blog about my favourite month of pregnancy, the discomforts of pregnancy started to catch up with me. Don’t get me wrong. I am TOTALLY NOT COMPLAINING! I still love being preggy but I guess pregnancy discomforts are inevitable and definitely part of the package. Hey! It’s been a pleasant ride so far: no morning sickness, no bad back pains, no extreme mood swings and no massive weight gain. So… No complaints. Hihihi.

These recent observations just amazed me.

FIRST: Today, I noticed that my feet seemed to be struggling to stay within the confines of my shoes! Mind you, I am already wearing 1 size bigger than my pre-pregnancy size. At this rate, I might have to purchase shoes 1 size larger. Waaahh! To think I just bought 3 shoes with this size in colours & styles that I thought would suit the few clothes I have left. :sigh: What’s funny is most people I know complain of bloated feet meaning WIDE while others don’t get such significant change with their feet. My feet seems to be too unconventional that it grows lengthwise and not the more common width-wise. Ah well.

NEXT: 2 weeks ago, I started to notice that my nose started to look big to me when I looked in the mirror. It was only last week when Jinky, actually Phil, noticed it from my pictures at Diyel’s baptism. :boohoo: To think I really ‘made up’ myself that day as I wanted people to see me look my best during pregnancy of course. I enjoyed having my pic taken even only to realize after that I really shouldn’t have. Hehehe. Ah well! Who cares?! For our bebi… anything! CONSOLATION: Someone told me I looked good at Diyel’s Christening. Hehehe… :kikay:

At Angelique’s Christening, I tried to avoid having any photo taken but I didn’t want to be called “maarte or KJ” so I just somehow tried to pose at a certain angle where the whole nose and face is not fully visible! Hahaha. VANITY VANITY!!! Result: Couldn’t hide my bloated body & face. Nyahahahaha!

LAST but definitely not the least, obviously one thing is for sure… my tummy will get B I G ’ger. It has grown quite a lot since I entered my 5th & 6th month. Although, I still get people telling me that my tummy doesn’t look at all like it’s 6 months pregnant. :woohoo: Hurrah! But really… it has grown so much. I am already having difficulty getting out of bed and sometimes turning can get a bit tricky as, of course, I have to take care of my tummy. The clothes I have been wearing at home are all shrinking (so I like to think! Hahaha). I keep checking myself in the mirror at home and see how much my tummy has grown. It’s just so fascinating!

Well, out of these 3 and many others that I’d rather not talk about hehehe, there is one B I G thing that simply overshadows all of them and always brings a B I G smile or even a giggle from me…. That is Baby’s More active and pronounced movements throughout the day. It can totally turn my mood 180 degrees! Nothing else comes close… for now. :kindat:
