This morning our drive to work was greeted by a big billowing black cloud in the sky. When we got to the office, we received some info that apparently, there was an explosion heard in the Jumeirah/Umm Suqueim/Barsha/Al Quoz area at 07:14am today. They are still unsure whether the explosion came from the gas company warehouse or the fireworks warehouse next to it. So far, the fire spread up to more than 8 more neighbouring warehouses.
