Maeyonnaise

Since Saturday evening until yesterday, I was in bed with fever, full body muscle & joint pain, diarrhea & the inability to get out of bed on my own.  I just didn’t have any energy at all.  I was in pain all over and can’t be held too hard coz it hurts.

It was just too weird coz Saturday morning, we attended mass and then I walked through the horrible heat to go to Federal Express.  Later that evening, we watched No Reservations with Karen, Don & Lulu.

It was alright.  It was like ordinary life scenario.  It was sweet.

Actually, we wanted to watch Stardust but it wasn’t showing anymore. :(

Afterwards, we met up with Mami & Papi to have a buffet dinner at Spice Island.  It was Lulu’s wedding gift to Ariel & me.. her birthday gift to Karen…and the rest… well… sali na rin! :)

Actually, during dinner I was feeling odd already.  I couldn’t taste anything I ate.  I started to feel really exhausted on the way home from dinner.  When we got home, I crashed into bed and felt my whole body in pain.  My first thought was I was gettin arthritis or rheumatism from all the lobster & tiger prawns I had.  My joints & muscles were just piercing in pain.

Yesterday, ‘rents brought me to Welcare Hospital. I don’t particularly like going to hospitals or doctors in Dubai… from my experience, I just feel they are a waste of time & money ’cause they don’t really fix me or seem to know what they are doing…. BUT this time, it was a good experience.  Service was really good. I felt taken cared of and they sorted me out. They did a really good job.  All these for just Dhs.50! Including the meds too! Even more, they gave me an injection for my pain and even proceeded to do another test for another infection to ensure the meds they gave me is the right one.

Am working from home though. Hirap na mabinat!  Besides, I still had sinat in the morning. Great thing too coz hubby is off… so ALAGANG ALAGA AKO!!! Life is GREAT!
