Maeyonnaise

For as long as I can remember, my skin has been the most sensitive, problematic & highly reactive part of me.  If it doesn’t like a product I put on it, Gosh! within hours you will definitely see the reaction.  The great thing is when my skin loves the product… you can definitely see my skin glow…glow…glow!

Therefore, it is not surprising that I haven’t met a foundation that will not turn dark after so much hours… acidic skin reaction.  I have read about the new generation of make up.  Make up that you need not remove at night as, apparently, it is very good to your skin.  These are make up with minerals.  I did look for Bare Escentuals in Sephora at Dubai Festival City.  I was even ever so excited about it but I went home in vain.  They didn’t have this famous ‘minerals’ make up.  I searched online of a way to order them.  I found it’s counterpart, Everyday Minerals.  They even accept Paypal which was just perfect.

They had a free sample kit!!! I happily selected the colours I wanted to try out.  I even included a lipstick (as that is my fave make up).  I even put in a brush to use in trying these exciting foundations.  When I got to the check out… I almost fainted when I saw that shipping costs $55+ That’s AED200+!!!  My sample kit, brush & lipstick would be the most expensive sample ever!!! 

It’s so annoying… 

I guess I have to figure something else out for now…
