 After months of hoping that this condition goes away, avoiding having to go to the doctor and spend thousands of dirhams again, I found myself being scolded for not coming a lot earlier and investigating my condition. My greatest fear slapped me in the face. The doctor told me that she found a tumor in me and had to take a test to check whether it was cancerous. If it is, I will have to undergo Immediate Surgery. I must’ve had such a worried & stunned look on my face because she suddenly re-assured me that when the results come in negative then we can just proceed with a less-evasive treatment and let it be. She insisted that I religiously go for treatment. I will definitely after this!
Somehow, I got shocked
with the news that I was almost teary eyed on the way out of there. I found it so difficult to tell hubby about it or even mention it at all. Well, to my pleasant surprise hubby was just ever so supportive and even made sure that I don’t get saddened by it. He kept on making me laugh. Hayy… I loved him even more that night. He said that all the thinking will make it worse. Great point. I might as well detox myself with endorphins! :w00t: Hehehhe
Yesterday evening, they called me and Hubby took the call (I was having a Reflexology massage that’s another post in the making). Result: it was Normal and Not Cancerous. Sigh!!! Thank God!

Wow that’s a pretty heavy sacrifice. Especially to go cold turkey… most people that I know who went Vegan, did it bit by bit. All the best.
Am so glad to hear you’re ok. BIG HUGS!!

Thanks ladies.
Well, I still eat some white meat like chicken & fish for protein but definitely NO RED MEAT. I have just recently discovered a vegetarian source of protein, so I will be shopping for those this weekend.
So far, I have only eating some meat because “buntis” cooked some and gave me for lunch. I couldn’t say no. Other than that…so far so good. I have only eaten fish the other night and chicken last night. Otherwise, all veggies. :)
