International phone calls from the UAE were disrupted and Internet service crawled to a halt Wednedsay when two submarine fibre-optic cable systems “snapped” in the Mediterranean.
Wrong timing!
Just when I am in the middle of working on my site, this happens. Up until now, the internet is still struggling to provide it’s usual speed. As it is I have been struggling to migrate all my information, make adjustments and learn the technicalities on maeyonnaise.com.
Ah well, I realized how patient I can be when I really want something. hehehe.
At least now, the site is in working condition. While I make further tweakings, like correcting my blogroll, I will be working on having some proper posts now. It’s difficult when you have so many things to juggle in your head! hihihihi.
Honestly, I am really happy that I didn’t go for having somebody else do this. (I strongly considered it but…) Since I always prefer to be hands on, I enjoyed learning about the technicalities and somewhat feel some kind of fulfillment after seeing the result. Furthermore, I saved almost a $100 by doing it myself. Thanks to the drop Dirhams-Philippine peso conversion. :ermm:
