US President arrived in Abu Dhabi today.

The email below is spreading like wildfire all around Dubai.

US Embassy RSO has just confirmed that Dubai Police are closing:Sheikh Zayed Road / Jumeirah Beach Road / Al Wasl Road…to civilian traffic from 0600 until 1700 tomorrow. RSO warns backlog on these routes before and after those times and from 5-8pm tonight will be bad.It’s almost declaring a holiday for us who work in Jebel Ali as these are the main roads to our area. So should I jump for joy that we are working from home tomorrow??? (Holding back my enthusiasm!!!) :)

The advice regarding road closures coming in as follows:

Sheikh Zayed: from Garhoud to Mall of Emirates;

Al Wasel & Beach roads : closed from Police Academy to Al Safa (advising two interchanges but plausible till Al Safa)

Al Khail Road: From UN Ops building till Al Barsha turnoff (Mall of Emirates)

…seems they advised tomorrow is declared a holiday for Government and Schools due to road closures.
